Birthday Present for My Niece

I found this sweater on lion brands site a while ago and had to make it. I didn't have enough yarn to make it a solid color but I did have these 2 yarns that went well together So I figured I would just make the edging in the contrasting color.



Then since I had so much pink left I decided to make a hat to match. The hat just cried out for big flower on it. Although that is detachable and can be pined on the sweater as well



Then I ran to target and got her a jean skirt and leggings and a tank top. Heres the whole outfit

I tried to take a pic of the sweater i made but they didn't come out good laying flat. So it will have to wait till when I'm not wearing jamies lol

I have so many projects I want to post pictures of but i keep slacking off. I've made 2 squiggly pot holders, one I already gave away though. A scrap and i want to post pics of the blanket I'm working on for my mom. I just got a copy of the current crochet today and I started making some cute coasters but I think I may start them over and revise the pattern a little.

Finished my Blue Star

Well Its been a while since I posted. I did finish my blue star but I'm having trouble posting pics not sure what i'm doing wrong but I guess I will try again...... Okay I think I got them now ... lol ... So heres the blue star I finished ... I also just finished the "Scrap" that was featured on "uncommon threads" But I still havent taken pics yet ... so more pics to come soon

Blue Star Progress

I have my first set of nine patches. The 5th color is a soft white that will border the 9 patches. I just need to find some time to work on this.

Pink Star Finished

I still need to weave the ends in but close to done :)
I used Simply Soft Rubine Red (which is really hot pink) and white and Mainstays Black.

I added a little shell edging to make it more girly, theres a matching hat to come as well.

I also started on the red black and white star. I'm much farther than this now.

Blue Star

I joined the Blue Star CAL. Heres pictures of mine so far. Although I took off the verigated and substituted it with country blue. I think my 5th color will be cream

Yo Yo Afghan

I started Joining my Yo Yo's. I'm using RH SS in Black. It is 20 Yo Yo's wide and approximately 50 inches. So far I have just the three rows.

Scarves

Heres a Scarf and a Scarf and Hat set that I will be donating to charity.

Fat Bottom Bag - Finished. I just need to weave in the ends. Oh yeah and I need my handles lol I ordered them like 8 or 9 days ago from eBay and haven't gotten them yet. I'm not sure if I will use the dark brown 6 inch pair or the bamboo 5 inch pair. The color is actually a little off in this picture. It's darker, the yarn is Lion Brand Suede in Denim.
